Edward graduated from the University of Bristol with a Batchelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2013, having also earned a publication. Prior to this, he obtained a Biomedical Science degree from the University of Southampton in 2008, where he received an award for his academic achievements. Driven to expand his clinical experience, Edward completed Foundation Training in Fareham before undertaking Dental Core Trainee roles in the Dental Institute at King's College Hospital (London), and in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Birmingham).
Edward's approach to dental care is centred on empathy, with a strong commitment to helping patients feel comfortable and well cared for. He has successfully assisted individuals in overcoming dental anxiety and is trained in administering intravenous (IV) sedation to ensure a calm and relaxed experience for those who need it.
With a particular interest in oral surgery, Edward achieved a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Oral Surgery with Distinction in 2022. Since 2023, he has been providing NHS referral Oral Surgery Services, in addition to offering private oral surgery extractions via referral. While tooth extractions are never something patients look forward to, Edward is dedicated to making the experience as positive and stress-free as possible.
Outside of dentistry, Edward is passionate about bouldering, archery, and football. He also loves to travel and has a deep interest in teaching, sharing his knowledge and experiences with others helping them achieve.
